VOICE Today Partners With

Voice Today partners with Enough Is Enough to train adults to protect children from predators and pornography online.  The Problem: Over the past several years, a number of dynamic and destructive dangers have emerged to create a perfect storm scenario for the online exploitation of our children, including: the profusion of Internet pornography; predators' easy and anonymous access to kids online; the need for updated, comprehensive and aggressive law enforcement; youth's risky behavior online; and, the echnogenerational gap between Internetsavvy kids and their parents.  The Solution:  In this everchanging world, parents remain the 'first line of defense' in  protecting their children against online dangers.  Unfortunately, parents and other adults are uninformed and illequipped to deal with evolving issues of Internet safety and need credible outside help. As the nation's leading Internet safety organization since 1994, EIE responded to this call to action by creating the Internet Safety 101: Empowering Parents program.  The cornerstone element of the Internet Safety 101 program is a four part, chapter segmented, DVD teaching series, which equips and empowers parents, guardians and educators to protect their families from Internet dangers by delivering a dynamic message about internet threats and safety solutions which includes: victim testimonials, guidelines from enforcement/field experts, expertise from EIE President Donna Rice Hughes, and tips and tools from Industry leaders.   Voice Today will be launching this new internet safety training in the community this month.

Break The Silence
Message
Angel Tree Gifts
It is my life's passion to break the silence of child sexual abuse and protect the children of the next generation.  God has opened so many doors in 2009 and introduced me to wonderful warriors fighting Child Sexual Abuse along side of VOICE.   I praise God for them and for their selfless efforts.

God is teaching me a great lesson in patience as nothing ever happens as fast as I, in my flesh want it to happen but God has brought this verse into my path so many times this year that I think it has become my rally cy.

Isaiah 40:31
Those who wait on the Lord will renew thier strength, they will mount with wings like eagles, they will run and not grow tired, they will walk and not grow weary.

As you support the VOICE Movement please pray that we have wisdom to wait on the Lord and His perfect timing to defeat this evil.  Social change takes time and we are seeking a social change that requires adults taking responsibility for child sexual abuse by making a conscious effort to protect ALL children. Please pray for personal consciousness, personal power and personal  responsibility for protecting our children.  May God richly bless you, your family and all your dreams!

BOOK REVIEWS

"A must read!  Eye-opening, gripping, heart-breaking yet truthful!  One of the most insidious crimes that a child could ever endure.  The courage to write this book is commendable, as it begins to break the silence of incest for all children.  If you work with, care for, or have children, you need to educate yourself about the impact of incest on the most innocent victims of all - our children.  Public awareness and education begin within these pages.  We all have a part to play in breaking the silence and shame surrounding child sexual abuse.  This book will make a difference!"

"Rare, riveting reading, Williams powerfully shouts that a tsunami of child sexual abuse has broken across America.  She knows as an incest victim; she poignantly paints her struggle as a survivor; she urgently leads as a victor.  This is a must-read for anyone who leads at any level -- home, neighborhood, community, state or nation.  Packed with relevant data yet crafted intimately ....It takes some courage to read; imagine what it took for her to write!"

"Thank you, Angela Williams, for writing a book for every young woman of high school age and above!  After over 30 years of National Pro-Family work with young women, I am aware of hundreds of thousands of young women victimized by sexual abusers on many different levels.  They are broken people, and incest is often the breaking point.  You didn't just tell your story, but you offer hope and help to hurting young women and men who desperately need it.  You give insight, candid description, and key resources and safe places to contact.  You captured my heart when you said, 'God's grace won't take you beyond His mercy.'  I was captivated from page 1 to the end."

Angie's childhood was torn to shreds at age 4 by a child abuser. This honest, raw, very personal story will touch your heart and soul. You will want to cry, scream, pray, and ultimately cheer for Angie as she wages battle with the demon that has haunted her life. A must read for those who have been touched by abuse and a real eye opener for those who have not. Buy this book now. You won't regret it.

Angela Williams has opened her heart with all of the pain, the shame, the heartache, and the secrets she suffered. She has laid it out for all to see with honesty and openess that is rare. With the healing that she has received, she offers the hope and the help to others who have been burdened with a painful and shameful past. The very things that could have been kept her in bondage, have been used by God to show that freedom is available and life once scarred can have beauty and purpose!

It took great courage for Ms. Williams to write this book. She digs deeply within herself and doesn't hold anything back. I was deeply impressed by the fact that she brought out the way victims learn to become manipulative in order to survive. She did a good job of explaining why relationships are so difficult for victims of child molestation. As a Victim Advocate, this book gave me more insight into the reasoning process that shapes the lives of many of the victims I serve. It is well worth reading.
                                                            --Debra P. Coody

Angela's ability to come forward with such honesty and detail is amazing. This book can help all survivors of child abuse - sexual and/or physical. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Angela and she is even more warm and beautiful than her book and website portray. God truly had and continues to have His Hand on her life.
--Incest Survivor & Child Advocate

It's incredible that Angie could survive all of this, but she credits her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, for victory over the unbelievable abuse she lived through. God is certainly bigger than all the demonic powers on this earth. To God be the glory for saving Angie and demonstrating His sovereignty in her life. I pray He will use her story to help others who have experienced such terror to come forward and join Angie's campaign to end childhood sexual abuse!
